How To Become A Partner School

AOSF partners with private and public schools around the state to offer families in Alabama the opportunity to find an education environment that will best fit their children’s needs. Private schools must be approved by the state’s Department of Revenue in order to accept the scholarship. While all non-failing public schools qualify to accept the scholarship, not all public school districts choose to accept the scholarship as a form of payment to cover out of district fees. If you are interested in taking your scholarship to a public school outside of your district, please make sure that the public school district you are interested in sending your child to will accept the scholarship.

Public Schools

AOSF partners with public schools around the state that accept the scholarship to cover student fees for out of district students. We are proud to work with the Alabama School of Fine Arts and the Alabama School of Math and Science in offering these great public school options. We also cover out of district fees for any district across the state that is willing to accept the scholarship to cover these fees.

“I have seen first hand how The Alabama Opportunity Scholarship Fund has played a major role in breaking the cycle of poverty in households of students who are served through Holy Family Cristo Rey Catholic High School.  The model at Cristo Rey allows students the opportunity to be placed in actual employment while in high school and helps them focus on future goals.”
