Most will thrive in their assigned neighborhood school. However, there are some children who will need a different learning environment to reach his or her potential. Sometimes that means attending another public school in a different neighborhood or a private school. To see a list of our partner schools, click here.
To help parents with that choice, we offer
three types of scholarships:
This scholarship is for low-income children and covers the transfer fees to an out-of-district public school
This scholarship is for low-income students and can be used to attend any of our partner schools
This scholarship is for students with unique needs and disabilities and can be used at any of our partner schools
Unfortunately, due to funding we will not be able to offer new scholarship awards for the 2025-2026 school year.
This was a very tough decision but one we have had to make for the health of the program to continue with our current families. We continue to search for donors who can help fund our program’s scholarship through their Alabama state income tax liability so that we can continue to grow and offer new awards in the coming years.
Decision notifications for the 2024-2025 school year have been sent out via email.
