How to Become a Partner School

Private Schools

Private schools must be approved by the state’s Department of Revenue in order to accept the scholarship. To join AOSF as a Partner School, you must do the following:

  1. Your school must complete the Notice of Intent to Participate from the ADOR's website. Your school must be accredited to participate in the scholarship program. Please be advised: the application review may take a few weeks to process.
  2. Once approved by the ADOR, your school's name must be publicly listed on their list of participating non-public schools. Until your school is publicly listed, we cannot send any student funds to your school.
  3. After your school is publicly listed, please email our Operations Manager, Abbie Schofield (aschofield@alosf.org).
  4. Abbie will guide you through the final step - the School Participation Agreement (SPA) form. This is an AOSF-specific form for you to submit to AOSF your school's contact and banking information for quarterly payments.

Public Schools

AOSF partners with public schools around the state that accept the scholarship to cover student fees for out of district students. We are proud to work with the Alabama School of Fine Arts and the Alabama School of Math and Science in offering these great public school options. We also cover out of district fees for any district across the state that is willing to accept the scholarship to cover these fees.
